Armagh Trip

On Friday the 9th of October 5th and 6th class went to the Planetarium and the observatory. First we went to the observatory and learned about how big the planets are, what their names are, how close they are to the sun and how big the stars are. We learned that Pluto is called a dwarf planet. From there we walked to the Planetarium. We went into a big room and there was a screen on the roof! We saw all the planets and learned how astronauts train for space. We even tasted the food they eat in space! We made rockets and blasted them up into the sky. Sophie's went the farthest.
