We had a great day in St Dympna's for Sports Day. Thanks to all the staff who made it so special and filled with wonderful memories for the children. A huge thank you to Mrs Finnegan who got ice creams for all of us, what a treat! Look at all those happy faces!

Third- Sixth Classes went to the big smoke for their tour this year. In the morning they did a tour of the city and the river on the Viking Splash duck. In the afternoon they visited Glasnevin cemetery where they learned about some of Ireland's greatest heroes. We had a brilliant day. Infants- First Class went to Bear Essentials in Cavan for their tour this year. They had great fun making their own teddy bears and playing in the playground! Best of luck to the pupils who graduated from St Dympna's last week. We wish them every success in the years ahead. Thanks to everyone who came to support them, and to the Parents Association for providing the refreshments. Thanks to everyone who supported our recent cake sale. It was a great success! A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated in Tydavnet Church on Wednesday the 15th of June for Mrs Finnegan's retirement. The festivities will continue in the school afterwards to mark this special occasion. Parents and pupils, past and present are welcome to join us to wish her well.
