We celebrated the occasion of Mrs Finnegan's retirement. There was a Mass of Thanksgiving in the church celebrated by Fr Early. Pupils, parents and staff members both past and present, and some members of Mrs Finnegan's family took part in the beautiful ceremony. The children from the senior classes played music and sang. Afterwards we returned to the school for speeches, presentations, refreshments and some more ceol and cráic! Thanks to everyone for their help in planning this event. We had a wonderful day. We wish Mrs Finnegan well for many happy and healthy years ahead.

Congratulations to all the pupils who took part in the Write a book competition. It is wonderful to have all these budding authors in our midst! Here they are receiving their medals and certificates for their efforts.
