We have completed our 4 week challenge! We have definitely seen great improvements in our overall health and well being, we will continue to engage in an active break each day even when the challenge is over.
Active Challenge Week 3!
Even with the Bank Holiday and heavy snow, we managed to complete a range of active tasks this week. Week 2 of our 4 week active challenge complete.

Week 1 complete Each day each class completed an active challenge. We really enjoyed it this week and we are motivated to keep going for the remaining 3 weeks! Rory Beggan visited the school to drop off our new school football jerseys and running vests. These were organised and paid for by our wonderful Parents Association. Thank you so much, we love our new kits!
We were delighted to welcome Ann Mc Kenna back for GAA training. Thank you Ann, the boys and girls had a brilliant time!
Active line: Mark, Iris, Liam and Jamie from our Active School Committe always do a great job at encouraging us to keep active during break time! Halloween Disco: We enjoyed a whole school dance party. There were Halloween songs and some spooky characters showed off their best moves! We had a great time. Active Walk Way:
We turned our Active Walk Way into a spooky walk way. Thank you 5th & 6th Class for creating an exciting Halloween experience for all of Junior & Senior Infants, although I think the teacher may have gotten a bigger fright ! |
