We rounded off the best week with even MORE fun!! Today we had GAA coaching with Chloe Sherry who plays for Monaghan ladies. Thank you Chloe the children loved it so much! We had an outdoor disco, our senior room played the final of their Champions League....it was nail-biting stuff! We had some balloon keepie uppie fun on the pitch, wall sit challenges, more Active Walkway learning and completed many more laps taking us around Ireland AGAIN!!
Another busy day today! A huge thank you to Rhea Mc Kenna for coaching our pupils and helping to develop their Gymnastics skills, they really enjoyed this!

Wednesday began with an active zoom call from Ciarán and Orlagh from Coral Leisure Monaghan. They really put the children through their paces. Thank you so much Ciaran and Orlagh!
4th to 6th class headed away to Rossmore Park for a History/Outdoor and Adventure lesson. To say they were tired on their return would be an understatement!! Thanks so much to Mr. Finlay for the wonderful, fun day that the pupils will always fondly cherish.
Scavenger huts have become a firm favourite, Here are Senior Infants and 1st class enjoying theirs. Counting, sorting, matching, recognising digits and problem solving along with plenty of ACTIVE FUN!!

Today we scooted to school, completed Active Walkway Challenges, enjoyed some yoga, ran to more places of interest for our Run Around Ireland Challenge and danced to Go Noodle.
What a BRILLIANT start to Active week. Thank you to Aideen Treanor who had the children complete some very fun and challenging activities. There were many tired legs afterwards!! Thanks also to Paul Carragher from Monaghan Sports Partnership for organising this coaching session. Mr. Finlay's room enjoyed a virtual tour of Croke Park on Monday. Thanks to the GAA museum and Tours. Today the pupils also completed some Active Walkway activities, played rock paper scissors....HOP, had some fun scavenger hunts and the senior room's Champions League tournament began!
