Hard luck to our soccer team who took part in the FAI 5 a side competition in Gortakeegan. The boys all put in fantastic performances and were very unlucky to lose out in the final playoff game. Thank you to @faischools, John and all refs and organisers for a great day.

Hoppy Easter Today we turned our Active Walk Way into an Easter hunt trail ! Thankfully the Easter bunny dropped some eggs along the way
This week marks the end of our Active School challenge. The children made great progress over the weeks and reached many of the capital cities ! An excellent achievement well done everyone
Well done to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th class on completing the PAWS (primary aquatics water safety) course! The boys and girls have worked so hard over the last 5 weeks, and it definitely shows
Massive well done to our boys and girls who attended the Cross County running this week. Big well done in particular to the boys who came 3rd in their event and to Chloe Gilespie who came 4th. Massive well done to all involve.

Each class has picked a different country as their goal The race is on to see which class will reach their country first

@monaghangaa @ActiveFlag Over the last 6 weeks the children in 4th,5th & 6th class participated in the lunch time Gaelic league. Today we had the final game, Mayo v Monaghan! Mayo took the title! Well done to all involved! The teams had great support from our amazing spectators!
5th and 6th class have had a very enjoyable 6 weeks doing handball. Thank you to Eilise McCrory from @ulsterhandball for training us. Congratulations to our two tournament winners and runners-up.
We have completed our 4 week challenge! We have definitely seen great improvements in our overall health and well being, we will continue to engage in an active break each day even when the challenge is over.

Even with the Bank Holiday and heavy snow, we managed to complete a range of active tasks this week. Week 2 of our 4 week active challenge complete.
